St Ives Bay offers a wonderful opportunity to experience sea Sailing in the comparative safety of St Ives Bay.
St Ives Sailing Club is based in the famous Cornish harbour town of St Ives. We sail through the spring and summer on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
The boat pen is at the back of the Sloop car park (Click Here for a map) next to the Sloop Craft Market. We have basic changing facilities in the hut there and on Sailing days we also enjoy use of the Shamrock Lodge on the Wharf which is a great place to swap tales of adventure at sea over a mug of tea or coffee. (And biscuits!)
Whilst the primary activity of the club is racing, we set aside a number of days each year for 'Fun' Sailing, when we can take friends and family out into the bay - and try to find some dolphins! We also have a range of social events throughout the year to which non-Sailing family and friends are very welcome.
