St John's is a small, friendly School which prides itself on the development of each individual child, no matter what his or her ability. Small class sizes, with a maximum of 16 children, promote the unique friendly atmosphere of the School. The School offers English, Mathematics, Sciences, Geography, History, ICT, RE, Art, French and German specialist teaching from Yr 4 and timetabled music lessons.
Children in the Pre-prep department (Nursery to Yr 3) also have the opportunity to experience specialist subjects with junior IT and Science laboratories equipped with dedicated junior equipment. This allows a unique opportunity for children to become comfortable with specialist subjects from a young age.
