Located right on Niagara Escarpment, Story Book Park, Owen Sound also offers a beautiful scenic environment for you to spend the day. Much of the park is shaded providing relief from the sun on hot scorching days.
Come and see what Story Book Park has in store for your family. First off, take a tour of the park on the Tour Train that is right near the entrance of the park. It will take you through all of the story land adventures as your pass all the Story Book Houses. See Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Hansel and Gretal, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. Then you could either hit the amusements, or if you are bold enough... see if you are brave enough to make it through the Haunted House! There is also plenty of wheelchair accessible playground space for your children to enjoy.
When it comes to mealtime, Story Book Park has its own Restaurant where you can purchase items like hamburgers and fries. If you wanted to bring in your picnic basket in though, that is okay too. We have a large Gazebo, great for birthday parties or company picnics, and a smaller Picnic Shelter, along with dozens of picnic tables scattered throughout the park.
