Lynn and Stephen welcome you to Strathmore Guest House, our tastefully decorated Victorian home. Built in the 1890's of Lakeland Slate, this superbly located Victorian house faces St.Johns church and is just a short stroll from the Market street with its many restaurants, shops and pubs in Keswick.
Lake Derwentwater is just a 5 minute walk away, as it the popular Theatre by the Lake, where three different plays run throughout the season.
At Strathmore Guest House we have seven guest rooms all tastefully decorated. Rooms to the front of the house overlook the church to Catbells and the Western Lakes. Views over Keswick to Striding Edge can be seen from the back of Strathmore Guest House.
Our large deluxe double room has a kingsize bed, full size television with DVD player, a two seater settee and a large bay window which overlooks St.Johns Church.
Strathmore Guest House is the perfect place to relax after a hard days walk. We have further 6 rooms, 5 with en-suites, 1 with private facilities.
