Superclown Children's Art Gallery is located in Torrance California. This was Elizabeth's home for many years, and it's where she raised her son David, who as a boy, originally created the Superclown character. We honor David through the foundation that bears his name- "The David Nathan Blanco Foundation".
Superclown Children's Art Gallery is dedicated to giving children a place to express themselves freely and openly. The purpose of the Gallery is to build a child's self-esteem and to engage the public in recognizing the fragile yet profound expressions children make about their lives and our world. Come in and learn about what Superclown Children's Art Gallery is doing with children, art, and communities. Superclown Children's Art Gallery & Network is part of the David Nathan Blanco Foundation a national 501 c3 non-profit corporation. .
Since 2000 the Torrance location has brought quality art instruction to hundreds of children. We have had an after school program with children of 186th street school, art to the children of "Beyond Shelter" and to children who have to wait for hours on end in the waiting room of the pediatric ward at UCLA medical center.
