Within walking distance from Surf Hotel there are many restaurants, shops, and activities.  Every Wednesday night fireworks are displayed on the beach in front of the Surf Hotel.  At the Seashell, a short walk from the Surf Hotel, nightly entertainment is avaiable. Every August, the Children's Festival week is a favorite for families.
