In 2004 the Surf Rock Hotel on Collaroy Beach closed its doors to undergo major redevelopment of the old site. Publican Brian Adams had a dream to design and build a modern contemporary beachside Hotel and café to cater for locals and visitors alike. This state of the art venue showcasing Australia's best surfing memorabilia ever collected reopened in March 2005.
