Welcome to The Surfside Inn in Ocean Park, Washington in the United States. The Surfside Inn, on Washington's Long Beach Peninsula, is in the middle of the action. The 28-mile beach is a thoroughfare of fun and adventure. The Pacific Ocean and the Columbia River, which courses into it, put on dramatic shows of wind and wave. Sunsets are beautiful.

Adjoining it are a private dressing room and a full bath. The entrance opens into a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave oven and dishwasher. The living room contains a gas fireplace and a color television with a DVD player and VCR. The sofa converts into a queen-size bed. Also included are the dining area and another full bath.

Laundry facilities are available on the second floor. A private deck (with gas barbecue) overlooks the beach and affords great views of the Pacific Ocean and its marvelous sunsets.

Enough recreational opportunities are available at The Surfside Inn to fill a vacation with great ease. An attractive indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi for relaxing are located near the front entrance to the Resort. The beach is a short walk and ideal for sand sports or merely relaxing. No ocean swimming is permitted along the peninsula because of the dangerous undercurrents and rip tides.

The Long Beach Peninsula is a playground to thrill folks of all ages. Seasonal events such as the annual Garlic Festival, Cranberrian Festival, The World's Longest Beach Run, Kite Festival, sand sculpture contests and musical festivals are the icing on the cake! The regular fare includes fishing, golf, tennis, shopping in unique stores, running, bicycling, horseback riding, hiking, softball, picnicking, volleyball, kite flying, canoeing, kayaking, clam digging and much, much more! At the southern end of the peninsula are Fort Canby State Park with two lighthouses, and the nearby town of Ilwaco with its 1,000 slips. Nearby is the Lewis and Clark Museum which recounts the western pioneering of the United States. At Ocean Park, in the central section, is Jack's Country Store which "contrary to what people say, does not have everything". On the Wallapa Bay side of the peninsula is historic Oysterville with its rustic buildings and ancient tales of the sea. To the north is Ledbetter Point, a paradise for nature lovers.
