The Sweet Orange Guest House is conveniently situated in Sea Point, one of the most popular suburbs along the Atlantic Seaboard of Cape Town in the Western Cape of South Africa.
The Sweet Orange Guest House is close to shops, cafes & restaurants, the City, V&A Waterfront and the beautiful Beaches of Clifton & Camps Bay and the popular Atlantic Seaboard promenade, just around the corner, a kilometre long Beach front, which is hugely popular for walking or jogging.
This beautiful old Victorian house was built about 100 years ago.
The wooden floors, ceilings, windows and doors are lovingly restored to their original state. Our six large rooms (non smoking/approx. 30qm) are all individually designed and furnished with en-suite bathrooms. In each room is a mini safe.
The tranquil garden with a small pool is a perfect place to relax in the sun. In summertime the breakfast will be served in the garden and in winter, in the living kitchen at the big table in front of the fireplace. On request we collect our guests from the airport with our Old timer.
Major South African and Western Cape Tourist Attractions easily accessible from the Atlantic Seaboard include:
Table Mountain, Lion?s Head and Signal Hill from which fantastic views of Cape Town not only in the day but also at night is within easy access. It is but a few minutes to the famous V&A Waterfront from where the ferry leaves for historical Robben Island. The Gay Village in De Waterkant, the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), the colourful Cape Quarter, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and of course Table Mountain are within easy access as are the beautiful Beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Sandy Bay. The Western Cape Winelands Routes for wine tastings are very popular and about 45 minutes from town.
