The Tancook Museum on Tancook Island, Nova Scotia, Canada and houses articles about the island, old tools and items from the island. Open since 1995, and now housed in the old general store building which also houses the Wishing Stones Gallery and Lending Library, and you can travel from room to room admiring the artifacts. The Tancook Museum welcomes you to a step back in time, there's an old fashioned bedroom, kitchen, and a room full of old farming and woodworking tools and implements, and many of the artifacts displayed here were made on Tancook Island decades ago. You can also view Museum pieces in the photo gallery and library, come learn the story behind the many fascinating pieces at the Museum, play on the old pump organ, and Martha, the Museum curator will happily answer all questions and provide interesting facts.
