The Tartu University Botanical Gardens of Tartu, Estonia were founded all the way back in 1803, and today the garden design remains main the same as when it was the founded in the historical old days, complete with bronze bust and memorial stone to the founder. Today collections include 10 000 species of plants which originate from tundra, tropical rainforests and more, and they boast the most species in Estonia, dedicated to teaching visitors of the diversity of the flora and saving usage of plantal resources and protection. The Tartu University Botanical Gardens offer fascinating exhibitions and sculptures, and collections can be viewed in outdoor parts with an incredible range and variety of plant life, there;s also a park with arboretum, trees and shrubs from Europe, perennials, dicots, annuals, alpines a rose garden and more. The greenhouses include the palm house with an excellent selection of palm trees, the subtropical house, a tropical house and succulents, come for a fascinating visit to these beautiful surrounds.
