A personal dream came true, when chef Harold opened his own Restaurant in Phuket in October 1996. Together with his friendly team of local people, he has created his very own style of Globetrotter Cuisine, constantly evolving and creating new tastes.
Trained at some of EuropeĆ¢??s top hotels and Restaurants, he wandered overseas to follow the path of the great buffalo, named TATONKA in the language of the native Americans. This led him over the Rocky Mountains into California, then east to the Hawaiian Islands and further to Southeast Asia, where he fell completely in love with the food and the people of Thailand.
Tatonka holds a unique place on Phuket's shores with its style and ambiance and therefore being featured in several guide books such as Lonely Planet, Frommers, Insight Guide, Meridian and others.
