Te Kairanga Wines- where the soil is rich and the food is plentiful... Te Kairanga Wines is one of Martinborough's founding vineyards in Wellington, New Zealand, established over 20 years ago. In keeping with the pioneering spirit surrounding the vineyard, a number of Te Kairanga Wines have hailed from Martinborough's history and that of its inhabitants dating back to 1879.
Our own John Martin Reserve Pinot Noir, known and loved by many, is notably named after the founding father of Martinborough - John Martin himself. Likewise the Pinot Runholder is aptly named as a tribute to the runholders of the land back in time.
Synonymous with international benchmark Pinots and good times, Te Kairanga Wines is well known for it's annual TK Day and for being a key site during Toast Martinborough.
With a dedicated team in both the vineyard and Winery, we look forward to celebrating the upcoming seasons in true TK style.
