Welcome to The Teeter House in Phoenix, Southwestern, United States. The Bouvier-Teeter House, a Midwestern style bungalow, was built in Phoenix, Southwestern, in 1899 by Leon Bouvier, a cattleman and flour miller. It was also used as a rental property. Bouvier sold the house to Eliza Teeter in 1911 and she in turn, rented out the property until she moved into the house in 1919.
Now known as The Teeter House, it is a charming Victorian Tea room offering gourmet soups, salads and sandwiches. Tea ceremonies with a turn-of-the-century style are available by reservation. Beer and wine also are served. Catering is available at The Teeter House for special events. Reservations are recommended but not required. Live music is frequently available on Friday and Saturday "Teeter Evenings.

The Teeter House serves a variety of old-fashioned fare and some lighter items with a fresh twist. Everything from soups and salads to sandwiches and scones are offered within the quaint walls. The dishes are whipped up in the home?s tiny kitchen, which Behringer had upgraded for food-service standards. She says things get quite cramped in the small quarters on a busy day.
The real treat, she says, is the traditional Tea ceremonies guests can enjoy.
