Enjoy the abundant wildlife in its natural habitat. A day out to Volunteer Point will not only allow you to have time to enjoy the King Penguins but will also take you through a Stone Run (a river of large boulders) before passing by the historical settlement of Port Louis.
If wildlife is not your first choice then a visit to the Battlefield Sites and Memorials may be more to your liking. A day out to San Carlos, where the British landed in 1982, enables you to see the British War Cemetery and Museum. The Argentine War Cemetery may also be visited on this journey or separately.
