The newly refurbished and renamed Terrace Restaurant in Gwynedd, Wales, United Kingdom, has been spectacularly designed with large murals of Lake Como extending the full length of the restaurant. Rich fabrics, beautiful chandeliers hung from tented ceilings combine to make an ideal setting in which to enjoy the excellent cuisine.
Over a period of 12 consecutive years the Terrace Restaurant has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes, become Welsh Restaurant of the Year, has received the Egon Rony Dessert of the Year Award and even the Taste of Wales Award for having the Best Cheese Board.
The Wine list at Terrace Restaurant in Gwynedd, Wales, has received a lot of media interest, International Wine Magazine wrote an article naming the restaurant a "Wine Lover's Paradise" with a 5 out of 5 rating. The restaurant is also proud to be the recipient of the AA Wine List Award for Wales for the years 2000 and 2004.
Terrace Restaurant is proud of their team of enthusiastic and creative chefs. The style is lighter than before with less butter and cream based sauces but as always the menus are produce led, using the finest ingredients in season. Excellent local produce include lobster, crab, mussels, sea bass as well as the now well known Welsh Black Beef and the deliciously sweet Welsh hill lamb.
