Terroirs Artisan Wines, in Geyserville, California is a gallery where vineyard-driven Winemaking philosophy takes notable form in four limited-release Wine brands crafted
by Wandering Winemaker Kerry Damskey.
We believe that low-yield, sustainably-farmed, mountain and hillside vineyard sources produce more complex and concentrated Wines, and Terroirs Artisan Wines in Geyserville, California, in the United States is thrilled to share them with you in the tasting room, in the field, and around the Adventurer?s Table!
We've designed the Terroirs Adventurers' Society as a small membership of TERROIRS Wine collectors and adventure lovers. Simply expect the unexpected and count on spectacular hillside and mountain-grown Wines. Each Society Selection is chosen by Winemaker Kerry Damskey and reflects its terroir of origin. Members of the Adventurers' Society have a standing reservation at the Adventurers' Table. Look forward to invitations to exclusive parties, leisurely dinner discussions, seasonal vineyard treks with Kerry and loads of fun.
Each limited edition Wine poured at TERROIRS is noteworthy for its origins. Low-yield, sustainably-farmed, mountain or hillside vineyard sources produce the most complex and concentrated Wines. Sharing the same Winemaker-artist, Wandering Winemaker Kerry Damskey, the Wines benefit from Kerry's restraint in the cellar and commitment to quality. The terroir of each unique vineyard is captured with delicious results.
Our Terroirs Artisan Collection includes Wines from:
GODWIN FAMILY WineS
TERROIR: Bennett Valley and Russian River
Godwin's Herrick Vineyard Chardonnay is created from a French "floral" clone; less than 100 acres of this particular clone have been planted in California and it is noted for its distinct peachy characteristic.
HUGHES FAMILY VINEYARDS
TERROIR: Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Valley
Organically farmed, the Wines from Keith and Cherie Hughes reflect the red, rocky soils running throughout the Sonoma region. The benefits of long hang time is also evident in the cedar and intense berry notes of their Syrahs and Zinfandels.
PALMERI WineS
TERROIR: High elevation Napa Valley and Alexander Valley
Compressed tufa ? ash from ancient volcanos ? runs throughout the soil profile in this region and translates to the vine as small, sweet, and lush fruit.
PEÑA RIDGE
TERROIR: Dry Creek's Bradford Mountain
Planted on the western ridges of Dry Creek Valley, the Piccetti Family Vineyards terroir is characterized by its hilside elevation, rocky soils, and luxurious hang time due to moderate temperature swings and full sun exposure.
