Tie the Knot on Tybee is a unique and romantic event open to the public that will be a group wedding ceremony and vow renewal celebration n Tybee Island in Georgia in the United States.
There will be food, drinks, music, photographers and vendors. Even though this event is geared towards couples wishing to get married or to renew their wedding vows, it is open to everyone. Couples wishing to get legally married please find the info on our site.
The event - Tie the Knot on Tybee on Tybee Island in Georgia:
Guests can arrive starting at 5:00pm. Appetizer service will begin at 5:30.
At 6:00 (sunset) we will start the group wedding ceremony performed by the Mayor of Tybee Island, Jason Buelterman. Food service and cake cutting will begin after the wedding ceremony.
At 7:00 we will hold the group vow renewal ceremony performed by former Tybee Mayor and Pavillion namesake, Walter Paker.
Music and dancing will continue between the ceremonies and throughout the evening.The event will end at 9:00pm.
Food:
Bring an appetite! The food is included in the cost of admission and served buffet style. There will be a large variety of different cuisine provided local Tybee restaurants. And, of course, there will be cake.
Drink:
Soda, punch and tea are included in the price of admission. Alcohol beverages will be available from the Riptide Bar located on the Pier Pavillion. Alcohol beverages are not included with paid admission.
The money raised by The Tie the Knot on Tybee 3 ticket sales and sponsorship will be put toward all the the incidental costs of putting on this event (pier rental, insurance, printing, advertising etc.). The Tie the Knot on Tybee 3 is being organized by a group of volunteers consisting of Tybee Island residents and business owners that do not profit from this event.
