Alastair and Linda McGaw welcome you to Tighnafeile House in Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Tighnafeile House was built in 1911 - 1912 for Mr and Mrs John Matheson and their six children. The house was designed by Timaru architect Walter Panton and was built by John Pringle.
The Mathesons named the house 'Tighnafeile' (pronounced Tyne-a-faylee) which is Gaelic for "House of Welcome".
The House was purchased in 2007 by Linda and Alastair McGaw, who have a love of antiques and classic cars.
There are four bedrooms with en-suites. A three course evening meal is available, prepared in the expansive kitchen within the house.
