Welcome to Toledo Yacht Club, Toledo, United States. The Toledo Yacht Club's history dates back to the 1800's when rowing was much more popular than sailing and motor boats were still a dream.

A disastrous fire totally destroyed a frame building in 1906. The present masonry clubhouse was completed in 1908. Toledo Yacht Club extends a warm welcome to you and your family. While many club activities take on a decidedly nautical flavor, there is much more to Toledo Yacht Club than you might imagine.

Toledo Yacht Club might be best known for its spectacular Commodore's Ball, the rousing Back to the Bay Party or its hosting of the prestigious Mills Race, however, family activities also include Pig Roasts an Easter Egg Hunt and an unforgettable brunch with Santa. If you like traditional lawn games, there is plenty of lawn to enjoy. Tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, tether ball and an expanded children's play ground means you'll never run out of things to do while at port. There's even a sheltered picnic area set in a secluded area away from other club activities for private parties. Toledo Yacht Club's swimming pool affords all members a great way to get in the water when they are not on the water.

Toledo Yacht Club's stately clubhouse continues her legacy with a formal dining room (but no formal dressing required), complete banquet service, a third floor ballroom, lunches and casual dining in the Den Bar complete with fireplace and large-screen television with satellite feed. Trophy cases and nautical memorabilia fill every corner of the club, reminding members and guests of the tradition which is still carried on today. A full-time staff care for all club operations, but for those who like to socialize by serving on a committee or two, take your pick. Entertainment and cruise committees keep members dancing, dining and yes, cruising to other clubs, Canada, the Islands and Cedar Point.

Few clubs can provide the sheltered, yet convenient access to the Great Lakes that TYC can. The superb location on the mouth of the Maumee River affords TYC's boating members the option of a leisurely cruise up the river for the 4th of July fireworks or the open waters of Lake Erie and its great sailing and fishing.
