Welcome to the Toy Museum, Stockholm,Sweden. Re-opened at a new venue, the Toy Museum, Stockholm displays thousands of toys from over a century: dolls, doll´s houses, trains, cars,

aeroplanes, etc. The Mickey Mouseum, history of the world in a number of peepshows(dioramas) and working model railways. Meccano, Lego, Brio, Barbie, Playmobil, McDonald and many

more kinds of toys. Shop, café, play area, children´s theatre and a magic show in new premises.

The Toy Museum is organized as follows:

Boats, Cars, Aeroplanes and Motorbikes

During the 20th century all generations of children have loved to

play with "delicious" mechanical and speed monsters.

The Museum has a large collection of steam engines of all kinds

from the 19th century till today.

The Mickey Mouseum

A number of different items with Disney motives and figures

from the start of the Disney business in 1930.

Historic peepshows (dioramas)

Here you can see the history of men up to the landing on the moon in the 1960s.

Dolls and the cuddly Teddy Bears have been popular for a long time. The oldest doll cabinets are from the end of the 16th century.

A fine collection from the german producer Lehmann can be seen at the Toy Museum.

Mini figures made of tin but also of other materials like plastic, lineol, elastolin and paper pulp are showing historic scenes with soldiers and other people.

The Railroad Society shows trains in motion in a landscape scenery.
