Owner Lorenzo Scordamaglia is from the city of Tropea. He trained in Genova with Costa Cruise Line and traveled all around the world as a waiter for Costa Cruises for 9 years. He also worked as a waiter at the Paralies Resort in Tropea for 5 years. He arrived in Seattle in 1983 and worked in various Italian restaurants in the Seattle area.
