Located between the mountains and the sea, The Tudor Inn in Port Angeles, US, is a three story, half-timbered home built in 1910 by an English gentleman. The Tudor Inn has been tastefully restored to retain the rustic charm of the Tudor Era, enhanced with many fine antiques from Europe and modernized to provide the comfort and ease of the present. A John Broadwood grand piano from London awaits the gentle touch of guests who enjoy music.
The Tudor Inn is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Large, 100-year old trees provide shade and beauty to the terraced English garden. A glass of lemonade can be enjoyed while sitting in the gazebo. The Tudor Inn is conveniently located just eleven blocks from the center of Port Angeles. One can browse through a variety of historic buildings, museums, fine art exhibits, gift and antique shops or sip a delicious espresso from one of many local coffee shops. The ferry to Victoria and entrance to Olympic National Park are just five minutes away. Restaurants for fine dining are as close as a short three-block walk from The Tudor Inn or a leisurely stroll downtown. There is ample free parking in the city center as well.
The Tudor Inn has five guestrooms located on the second floor, all with private ensuite baths, views of the Olympic Mountains or the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The lovely Country Room, with balcony, fireplace and claw-footed tub, has walls covered with a country mural, handpainted by local artist, Roberta Audette.
A delicious, filling breakfast with a varying menu of fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade pastries, delicate egg dishes and specialty baked dishes is served by candlelight in the dining room each morning.
The Tudor Inn is smoke-free and there are no accommodations for pets. Children under twelve years are welcome for scheduled family reunion weekends.
