Your "to do" list and pressures of every-day life are a million miles away as you watch eagles soar, fish jump, and hear the playful whinney of the six horses who also call this 12-acre "paradise" home. At Two Eagles Lodge, different from many bed and breakfasts, you can enjoy the freedom to come and go as you like, since your room has a private entrance and bath. A hot breakfast is optional, or you may prefer to prepare something on your own (we supply breakfast cereals, fruits, breads, etc.). For the convenience of our guests, we offer a shared lounge with games, books, and a tv, as well as a kitchenette with convenience appliances (fridge, microwave, coffee pot, etc.), whether you want a midnight snack or prefer to pack a picnic to enjoy at one of the area's beautiful lakes.
And, when you're done relaxing, we can't wait to introduce you to all there is to do on Vancouver Island, an "outdoor person's paradise" that stole our hearts and spurred us to relocate in 2006 from Maryland where we'd lived our entire lives.
Whether you enjoy kayaking, hiking, biking, scuba diving, golfing, skiing, fishing, touring the backroads on motorcycle, or just packing a picnic and relaxing by the water, Vancouver Island is the place to be. The weather is great (even when it rains) and the breathtaking sights around the Island are just a short drive from our centrally located paradise.
Two Eagles Lodge opened in June 2006 in Union Bay, Comox Valley, British Columbia, and we invite you to share our slice of paradise with us.
In addition to your private-entrance guest room which opens onto a patio overlooking the water, you will have complete access to a Rec Room and a Guest Kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hot plate, and mini oven. We offer guests their choice for breakfast, whether you prefer something light, such as yogurt and fruit, or a hot, family-style breakfast with Carolyn's peach pancakes or eggs and bacon. Our guest kitchenette allows guests the added convenience of self-serve meal preparation to make your stay much more comfortable than a hotel room, so you are not forced to eat every meal out or squirrel-away in your sleeping room to eat. The kitchenette is perfect for packing picnics or preparing a midnight snack. And, we're happy to loan you a cooler and lawn chairs to use as you explore this awesome island.
