Ulonga Lodge is situated in American River, a small waterfront fishing village, located on wooded slopes with spectacular panoramic views over Eastern Cove and Pelican Lagoon in South Australia.

A quiet place by day where bird life rules, and at night the streets and fields come alive with large numbers of Wallabies throughout the town.

In season, everywhere is green and lush with tall grasses and vivid in rich colours of a great variety of the islands delicate wild orchids and flowers. The areas bays deserted beaches and foreshore trails offer year round fishing and walking opportunities in the peace and quiet of one of the islands most beautiful locations in South Australia.

Ulonga Lodge located in American River, consists of five spacious two bedroom Cabins, offering breakfast on a daily basis. The Lodge is located by the waterside of Eastern Cove in the peaceful fishing village of American River. We cater our accommodation as either Bed and Breakfast, or as Self-Contained where guests can look after themselves as they would at home. We are next to Pelican Lagoon, which is a wild life sanctuary and bird watchers paradise.

We can arrange wildlife/scenery tours, fishing/diving charters and other activities to suit your personal taste and budget.
