Mike and Doreen welcome you to The Unicorn Inn, a friendly traditional pub in Ambleside town centre.

Ambleside's oldest coaching Inn,  The Unicorn Inn offers Robinsons/Hartleys real ales  complemented by a fine wine list and a good selection of malt whiskies. The bar has an original beamed ceiling and an open fire.   There is live music weekly,  singers and musicians are welcome. 

Meals are available from 12 noon - 2pm, and 7pm - 9pm.  There is an extensive bar meals menu with a comprehensive choice of hot snacks, sandwiches and main meals as well as a children's menu. Specials include steaks, lamb, chicken and fish dishes, with a good selection of starters and desserts.

The Unicorn Inn offers six first-class rooms for bed & breakfast, including a four poster double, twins, doubles and standard rooms. Four rooms are en suite and all are comfortably furnished to modern standards with tea/coffee making facilities and colour TV.  Breakfast is normally served from 9am.

The Unicorn Inn is open all year.  Dogs are welcome in the bar, but we do not allow pets in bedrooms. There is on street parking nearby.
