Standing in it's own grounds, Upper Mount House is tucked away in a rural-like backwater of Southsea in the United Kingdom but just minutes from the Southsea shopping centre and the seafront.

Upper Mount House was built in 1851 by our famous local architect Thomas Owen, known locally as "Thomas Owen Southsea". We are very proud to share this unique building with all our guests.

Proprietor Wayne served in the Royal Navy for twenty four years, nine of which he served on the Royal Yacht Britannia.

Under Wayne's guidance, the Upper Mount House is benefitting from Britannia's prestigious standards. Come and enjoy the quiet, relaxed
