Villa Arcaia is a large wonderful property encircled all around by walls with highest cypresses and gate for the complete seclusion and privacy of the guests.
The Villa belonged up to last year to an Italian actress and each detail inside and outside was chosen and done with much care. She lived in Rome and only used the Villa for short staying and some parties with actors, directors and so. In one of the bedroom you find many pictures of her with many international stars (Jane Fonda, Jacqueline Kennedy, and so). One of the bedroom is called De Niro suite, since that star enjoyed the Villa some days.
From the windows and terraces the panorama is spectacular over Trasimeno lake from one side and Chiusi lake from the other site. There is also a largest, covered terrace sized 130 square meters (used for the feasts with the stars), where you can dinner or take your breakfast.
That beautiful and unique property includes the main Villa - just called Villa Bellosguardo, for 7 people - and also two other buldings (with separate entrances and gates).
In the first guest house, called Casa dei Buccheri, there are two nice apartments: upstarirs for 4+1 people and downstairs for 8 people.
The other building is a cottage called Bellosguardo cottage; it can accommodate two persons.
Each unit is self-catering.
Therefore the whole complex can accommodate up to 22 people in 10 large and comfortable bedrooms and has 8 bathrooms in total.
That means it's possible to rent the whole property by a large group or just the main Villa Bellosguardo or one or more units in accordance with the needs of the guests.
The Villa lies on a hill typical of the Siena region with a beautiful view spreading out over the countryside as far at Chiusi Lake on one side and Lake Trasimeno on the other. It is situated in the Village of Poggi about 3 miles from Chiusi, the ancient capital of Etruscan kingdom.
The property is surrounded by a large, enclosed garden, which separates it from the few houses that make up the small Village. The garden looks out onto the countryside and is divided into three parts: with an Italian garden, a cool and shady grove of pine-trees, and the swimming-pool area.
Villa Arcaia and its guest houses are ideal for those who want to enjoy the peace of the green hills all around the house with a beautiful landscape and wide, superb views onto the valleys lying below, mountain tops, small typical Villages and of course the two beautiful lakes.
