Welcome to The Vineyard Wine Shop, Toledo, United States. After a career spent with hearing aid manufacturers, Jerry Johnson was looking for an opportunity to stimulate another sense, his sense of taste. He purchased The Vineyard in 2000 which at the time was a 30 year old Toledo institution located in the Old Westgate Shopping Center. Jerry's passion for Wine and educating the public about Wine, lead him into this spirited new career. Jerry turn The Vineyard into more than a place to just buy Wine. The Vineyard is also a site for learning about Wine and for sampling the wide variety the shop has to offer.

The staff at The Vineyard clearly love their work and it shows in the way they share their knowledge and enthusiasm with their customers.

Don is The Vineyard's Wine Manager and one of only two Certified Wine Educators in Toledo. In Wine there is a sensual side and an intellectual side. On the sensual side, its about what you love or hate. On the intellectual side, you need to know the varieties and the regions. Son talks to the Wine makers and this helps the public make great Wine decisions. Don wants to help you have a great time and enjoy a nice Wine to match your budget.
