Vritomartis Hotel took its name from an ancient Minoan goddess worshipped in the area. The Hotel is located in the region of Sfakia on the South coast of Crete, near the village of Hora Sfakion. This region is one of the most spectacular and unspoilt coastal area of Crete.

The Hotel is built in a traditional Greek style and situated on a promontory overlooking the South Cretan sea. The spectacular range of the White Mountains rises to a height of over 2000 metres to the North.
