Wanslea Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone Victorian house, lying at the foot of  Wansfell mountain and within a few minutes'  walk of Ambleside village and Lake Windermere.  It is a perfect base from which to explore the magnificent Lake District countryside.

Wanslea Guest House is open all year, is licensed, welcomes families  and pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Breakfast in the dining room includes your selection from the sideboard followed by our home cooked traditional Cumbrian or vegetarian breakfast and, if you can managed it, toast, tea, coffee and fruit juice.

Wanslea Guest House also has a residents' lounge with real fire as necessary.

TV and hot drink trays in all rooms.   Packed lunches can be provided by arrangement.

Wanslea Guest House offers premier rooms with king-size beds, en-suite spa baths and LCD wide screen TV, also standard rooms.

All our rooms have en-suite shower room or en-suite bath/shower room as well as colour TV, CD, radio alarm and tea coffee trays. We offer double, twin and family accommodation and children are welcome.
