The Warringah Aquatic Centre is located in the northern beaches area of Palm Beach Sydney, in a quiet forested location easily accessible from major road networks. It is situated in picturesque grounds with an attractive outdoor grassed area surrounding the 25m outdoor pool, toddlers' pool, playground and BBQ area.The Warringah Aquatic Centre has been proudly owned and managed by the Warringah Council Palm Beach Sydney Australia since opening in November 1979. An excellent venue for all ages, WAC has been used as a training venue for canoe polo, underwater hockey, synchronised swimming and the ITU World Cup. The Centre aims to create a viable and vital aquatic recreation facility for Warringah by encouraging and assisting the local community in their use and enjoyment of its facilities.The 50m indoor heated pool with its attached diving pool is extremely popular. The pool ranges in depth from 1.2m to 3m, with the dive pool being 4m deep. The pool is equipped with 1m square underwater viewing windows to both the diving pool and the main 50m pool. "Have a Splash!" is an opportunity for your child and all their friends to celebrate their birthday at the Warringah Aquatic Centre.
