Welcome to the The Wealthy Poor House Bed and Breakfast Belfast, Maine, United States. The classic, federal home was built in 1824 by Mr Frederick Lewis. He sold it to William 0. Poor, owner of the oldest drug store in the state of Maine. Mr Poor married a lady whose first name was Wealthy. Thus we are the proud owners of the 180 year old Wealthy Poor House.
