The Welch House in Clinton, New York in the United States was built in 1850 using the Italianate style of architecture. It was formerly owned by George Bristol of the Bristol-Myers Pharmaceutical Company. It was purchased by the Welch Family in 1955 and has remained the family Homestead.
The Welch House has a large front porch and enclosed back patio overlooking a beautiful backyard. There are many unique antiques and six working fireplaces giving The Welch House a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Guests are welcome in the kitchen, living room and dining room. Unique features at The Welch House include complimentary wireless internet access, local and domestic long distance phone calls, washer and dryer use.
Two suites are available with Queen size four poster cherry beds, private bathrooms electric fireplaces, TV, air conditioning and private sitting rooms. Each suite has 2 separate rooms accommodating a third person
The Welch House is a smoke free home, and pets are not permitted although boarding information is available. Garage parking is available with remote openers. Unfortunately we are not wheel chair accessible.
The Welch House serves a continental plus breakfast each morning at your convenience. Rise early or sleep in.
