Bright, cheerful, casual but elegant describe the immediate sense one has upon entering the Wild Blueberry Cafe in Ogunquit, Maine, United States. Decorated with fine works of Art, many by local Maine Artists, and beautiful antiques, establish an inviting atmosphere.
The Wild Blueberry Cafe's building is centrally located in Ogunquit, Maine, and built prior to 1872. The original house was owned by Samuel Littlefield Jr., whose family continues to have a presence in the town of Ogunquit, Maine. In 1916 Bernard's Bakery established itself, and shared the space with Joan's restaurant many years later. After an extensive renovation the Wild Blueberry Cafe is proud to continue the long tradition of fine food served in this location.
After a successful first year in 2006 serving breakfast and lunch with many rave reviews, Chef Joe Kenny has turned his talents to a dinner menu inspired by French and Mediterranean Cuisine using only fresh ingredients and the best possible local seafood, meats, poultry, and vegetables. In addition the Wild Blueberry Cafe offers a variety of fine wines, beers and liquor to compliment the meal.
We are proud to serve coffee by Coffee by Design, a small boutique coffee roaster in Portland, produce and meats from Dole and Bailey, purveyors of fine food. Such attention to detail is evident in the whole dining experience.
