Welcome to Wing Chun, Martial Arts, Surfers Paradise, Australia, The International Wing Chun Academy offers a broad range of casual and full time courses for both local students and overseas students wishing to study in Australia.  The International Wing Chun Academy is the first Martial Arts school to be registered by VETAB to offer accredited full time courses to overseas students wishing to study in Australia. The Academy's full time courses have attracted hundreds of full time students from within Australia and overseas (from countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, the United States, United Kingdom and Europe) keen to learn the unique system of Wing Chun Kung Fu as developed by Grandmaster Jim Fung, who was one of the world's leading practitioners of Wing Chun.

The Academy's Diploma and Certificate II, III and IV courses give overseas students the opportunity to learn our world class system of Wing Chun Kung Fu at flexible training hours abroad in Australia on a student visa. Under these courses, you will learn the necessary Wing Chun skills to establish your own school in your home country.

Campuses are located in Sydney, Adelaide and the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise.

Casual Wing Chun Classes:  In each 90 minute class, students are separated into groups (also known as 'grades') according to skill level. Each group is taught by a qualified Wing Chun instructor who guides the students through the Academy's carefully constructed syllabus, designed to efficiently and effectively increase a student's speed, striking power and overall self defence ability. To ensure rapid progress, the Academy recommends that students attend at least two classes a week.

Once a student has sufficiently mastered the movements and techniques assigned to their grade, they are encouraged to attend a grading to move up to the next grade, where they will be exposed to even more advanced areas of Wing Chun and self defence. Gradings are conducted by several qualified instructors who assess a student's Wing Chun ability, give them feedback on their performance, and determine whether nor not a student is ready to progress to the next grade.

Wing Chun have schools and branches throughout New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia, and students may enrol at any time of the year.
