Furnished and decorated to a superior standard, Wynford Guest House combines elegance and comfort with a relaxed atmosphere where you can be sure of an enjoyable stay.

Situated in a quiet traffic free lane on the edge of Ambleside and leading directly on to the fellside, Wynford Guest House offers peaceful surroundings, great views and a tranquil garden for you to enjoy. There are walks from the door, and there is ample private parking.

Clothes drying facilities are available.

Rooms at  Wynford Guest House  are fully equipped with all you would expect, plus lots of little extra touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Two rooms are on the first floor, one on the ground floor. All rooms have en-suite facilities with bath and shower.

Wynford Guest House serves a traditional full English breakfast, to set you up for the day. We use the best in local produce, including fresh eggs from locally reared hens.

Lighter and vegetarian alternatives are available. We are also pleased to provide packed lunches if required.

The Lake District National Park is regarded as the United Kingdom's finest area of scenic and natural beauty, with every opportunity available to enjoy it.  Ambleside is situated right at the centre of the Park.
