    The Castle of Santa Agueda in Ferreries, Menorca, Spain is an archaeological site of great historical importance located on the hill of Santa Agueda, the ruins are a direct testimonial of the thousands of years of the history of Menorca. This ancient fortress built in the time of Arab domination circa 1232, appears as a strategic military point and residential palace of Muslim governors, it was the last stronghold of the Arab troops. The Castle of Santa Agueda and the Roman road which leads to access the fort is being recovered and restored by the City Council because of its importance as a historical site.
