Killary Sheep Farm is a traditional working farm in Leenane, Co. Galway, Ireland with ewes and lambs roaming freely in the mountain overlooking the Killary Fjord, here they run mainly blackhead horny sheep which are suited to the terrain. This farm is a fascinating place to visit and you can come view the traditional method of bog cutting the way it was done in the olden days, or enjoy a picturesque walk along country trails, they also do sheep shearing demonstrations between July to September when they shear all their sheep by hand, and sheep dog demonstrations. Killary Sheep Farm welcomes visitors of all ages, and they are situated on the southern shores of the Killary harbour on the mountain, a must visit.
