Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, houses one of the largest private collections of military aircraft relating to WWI and WWII, and all have been beautifully restored with the use of original parts, where possible. Nearly all the planes at the museum are airworthy, and are flown during flight demonstrations and air shows held at the museum throughout the year. The museum continues to expand as we acquire new aircraft and aviation-related ground equipment, and we invite you to enjoy a tour with one of our knowledgeable volunteers who are familiar with the personal history of each aircraft. The first aircraft that was salvaged from the tundra in Siberia for our collection, was the Curtiss P40, and each aircraft that is salvaged, regardless of where and in what condition, is lovingly and meticulously restored by military aviation engineers and experts. We are proud of the fact that most of our restored aircrafts are in excellent flying condition, and are often seen flying to and from our museum. Military Aviation Museum has hosted a variety of special events, from concerts to weddings, military retirement ceremonies and family reunions.
