The Fisherman's Friends are shanty singers from Port Isaac, Cornwall, UK, and they have been delighting visitors and locals for more than 15 years. Their regular summer sessions down on the harbour of Port Isaac welcomes all to the joyful and authentic sounds of the shanties sung by the 10 man group, who mesh their voices incredibly. The Fisherman's Friends stand in a line, and each leads a song from the one end of the line to the other, for a superb display of sound and song, and they have a great repertoire of songs and shanties that delight the audience. That sound has graced not only the Port Isaac, but the Royal Albert Hall and the BBC Folk Awards, and they have albums out for you to enjoy at home.
