The Urbanna Oyster Festival is a wonderful annual event in November of every year, now celebrating it's 56th festival. There is no admission fee as this a walking pay as you go festival, and event highlights include an antique car show, food, arts, crafts, oyster shucking contests, wine tasting, the Oyster Festival Queen and little Miss Spat and so much more. The Urbanna Oyster Festival is wheel chair accessible with handicap parking, and there are excellent souvenirs and poster for sale and more, it's a not to be missed event running from the Friday to Saturday, with excellent events, exhibitions, parades and fun, get there.
