Museo Archeologico
The Museo Archeologico in Olbia, Sardinia, Italy showcases historical events of the ancient city and territory of Olbia dating back from prehistory to 21st century, and this is the only town in Sardinia that was inhabited by Greeks way back from 520ad. Standing on a small Peddone Island facing the port, and the building design is the image of a moored ship, it houses two temporary exhibition halls, a conference room, school room, dining, bookshop and office buildings. The Museo Archeologico features a walled video projection illustrating the wrecks that they will see in the next halls, and there are real size reconstructive sections of Roman burden ships, the museum is a fascinating place to visit weaving a rich and complex tale of the historical and human path of the area from days of old.
