Scales Nature Park also offer educational exhibits, regular and special event programming on-site, outreach programs and so much more, and you can even adopt an animal for a year, so choose a turtle, snake, lizard, frog or salamander to adopt and receive a Certificate of Adoption and a small placard with your name on it at the animal's enclosure.

OPP Museum
The OPP Museum in Orillia, Ontario is open year round with free admission, and their basic responsibilities are to preserve, document and interpret artifacts and archival materials to build an understanding of policing in Ontario dating all the way back to 1791. By preserving and celebrating the heritage of the Ontario Provincial Police visitors can view fascinating permanent and temporary collections as well as travelling exhibitions, they also have vintage vehicles and more.
