Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park
The Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park in Tadoussac, Quebec, Canada is part of the network of National Marine Conservation Areas to protect the eco systems and conserve the representative portion of the Saguenay River and the St. Lawrence estuary. It is ideal for educational, recreational and scientific purposes and encompasses three major ecosystems, namely the Saguenay Fjord downstream from Cap à l’Est; the Upper Estuary, upstream to Gros Cap a l'Aigle, and the Lower Estuary, as far downstream as Pointe Rouge or Les Escoumins. The Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park offers campground accommodations, marine wildlife and bird watching, hiking and biking, land discovery sites, sea kayaking, recreational boating, scuba diving, marine observation cruises and there's a visitors centre, come enjoy.
