The Polson Museum
The Polson Museum in Hoquiam, Washington, USA is a National historic site situated on nearly two acres of parkland along the banks of the Hoquiam River with extensive gardens, landscaping and outdoor machinery displays. Housed in a beautifully restored mansion with each room featuring a photograph of the Polson family's original decorations and possessions, there's also a railroad camp which will house many artifacts from the extensive heavy-machinery collection. The Polson Museum a fascinating collection of photographs, antiques, equipment and texts, and there are seventeen rooms of exhibits, they also host many annual events, a must visit.

The Hoquiam Castle
The Hoquiam Castle in Hoquiam, Washington, USA is a historical 20 room mansion built by a lumber baron in 1897, which has been declared a state and national historic site. There are cut crystal chandeliers, leaded and stained glass windows, antique furnishings and original craftsmanship of extensive wood paneling, ceilings, columns and floors, there's a period kitchen, grand ballroom, formal parlor, tearoom and den. The Hoquiam Castle is also features 5 beautifully restored bedrooms, WIFI throughout and beautiful views, this stunning attraction is currently a private residence but is open for tours.
