Old Saint Hilary's is a wonderful place to visit with the land around the small church listed as a historical landmark in the 1950's and is also known as the Thomas Howell Botanical Garden. This 122 acre preserve is the only place you'll see the rare Tiburon jewelflower, a unique member of the mustard family with maroon petals, and birdlife here includes a resident pair of Great Horned Owls in the Valley, red tailed hawks, American kestrels and more as well as butterflies and other wildlife. The open space at Old Saint Hilary's is perfect for hiking and enjoying the wildflowers, horseback riding and mountain biking and dogs are allowed, come enjoy.READ MORE
