The Cheshire Military Museum
The Cheshire Military Museum in Chester, United Kingdom, is a unique heritage museum that depicts an interesting story of Cheshire soldiers as far back as the 17th century right up to the present time. This heritage museum will teach you about wars and exploits of the regiments, and will give you an insight into the hardships experienced in trenches by WW1 soldiers. The Introductory room at The Cheshire Military Museum explains army terminology as well as badges of rank, of which we have an impressive collection. The aim of The Cheshire Military Museum is to increase understanding and knowledge of the military with visitors and hopefully provide encouragement for children to enjoy museum visits.
