Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center
The Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is passionate about preserving and interpreting the maritime history of Jacksonville for the present and future generation and hopes that through its collection of books, documents and artefacts, to instil in visitors of all ages, a deeper appreciation and understanding of our maritime heritage. Established in 1985, Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center is a non profit organisation that is run by dedicated volunteers. At the museum we are always on the lookout for artefacts and objects which will help us keep the story of maritime historical activity alive and interesting and in so doing make a visit to the museum both a positive and memorable experience for visitors of all ages.

The Florida Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida has been in existence since 1876, and the purpose of the club was primarily to promote yachting, coupled with social enjoyment and entertainment. Florida Yacht Club has so much to offer its members, from leisurely cruises, to fine dining, swimming and tennis, there is something for everyone. Over the years membership has grown dramatically, and extensions to the clubhouse include elegant dining rooms, extensive kitchen facilities, over 1000 feet of docks and slips.
