The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society
The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society in Marblehead, Ohio, was established in 1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving our village history as well as the Marblehead Lighthouse. The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society opened the museum in 2000, after extensive renovations to the house were completed by the State of Ohio. Through the valiant efforts of the Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society the lighthouse museum has flourished and continues to display artifacts, historical photos, and exhibits that are authentic originals or professional replicas. The museum is wheelchair accessible and is operated by volunteer staff.
